Creating a blog for your Business...

I read the post "Create a blog for your Business?" on "June E-Marketing's Blog", and it was so interesting questioning that impulsed me to write about it as well.

Well, the "simple question" is "Should you create a blog for your business?"
June explained her point of view about it, which I completely agree, but I'd like to post my positive point of view about it as well. To simplify it, lets set 3 good reasons to adopt this tool(blog) for your business.

1 - Interaction: On your website, you just show, list and inform about products, your company etc. Using a blog, now you have exposure and mainly you INTERACT with customers/potential customers. You bring people "inside" your company, and answer questions, inform detailed about new campaigns, products acquisitions etc. They have the chance to relate with someone inside the company, who could be the CEO, Marketing manager, PR Manager or even Ombudsman. Now your customers are able to have a "relationship" with your company.

2 - You can get a feedback from the field: After being exposed, people would feel more free to expose their satisfaction(*or the opposite) about your product/service. Then you can discover facts and details that you maybe could never get by researching, and you're also now able to use blog tools to improve this "relationship" with your customers. For example, you'd use a subscriber tool to keep everyone updated easily. You could also use a poll tool to check for their needs and make promotions if they answer researches.

3 - It's ONE MORE WAY to communicate with your customers, creating a new brand experience.

Companies just must be very careful about using a blog, to don't let it works against itself. For example, is absolutely necessary someone full-time dedicated to answer and publish content. Or, depending on the company's size even a team, working dedicated to its blog. If the company is trying to change its marketing image, then its also a good opportunity to check what your customers are demanding (Example.: Price or better service...). You can fit your business accordingly to what the market is asking for.
